I can't find a write up anywhere!! But I got a h22a4 out of a 97 lude I wanna drop in my 97accord. My accord already houses a f22b1. I also plan on staying with my f trans. And want to keep the car odb2. So what do I do guys. Take care of your fellow enthusiast!!

its plug and play i believe. that f22b1 should of had a knock sensor i think. I THINK!! was the car converted to obd1 since you are saying you want to keep the car obd2? the 97 prelude engine is obd2 so no need to convert back to any older obd. should bolt RIGHT UP i believe

The F22B1 does not have a knock sensor.

The '96+ Accord is OBDII as is the motor. He would need to use a OBDII '96 Prelude ECU (P13) for everything to stay OBDII which can be difficult to find.

There are guides in the FAQ that are better than those you listed.

So I can't use the ecu I already have? It's odb2. It's the factory ecu for my car. What would happen if I did? And how do u wire in the knock sensor?

so you wanna run a single cam ecu on a twin cam? with different fuel maps. timing maps. etc. so no try it if you want its your car. we are not responsible for any damage you cause to your car. write ups man. write ups. its all over the internet bro. just type it in. you want us to give you information that is already floating out there

I am and still Havnt came up with anything. Could have easily said no and explained of why. Simple question. Wtf these forums for if u can't ask ****.. I've been searching on it...

You can, it's not going to work well at all.

And you should read the guides to get an idea of what all is involved. If you don't have emissions testing down-grading to OBDI is going to be the easiest option.

Just get a jumper harness and a chip obd1 ecu

Well looks as if a jdm p5m is the best ecu to go with. And no immobilizer
