Miss fire when engine warm
I have a 90 accord. last week i put a timing belt, head and distributor in it. worked fine after that. yesterday, i noticed it missed alittle while driving. today. started fine, ran fine. as soon as it got warm it was missing bad. didnt want to stay idling. shut it off and it didnt start. came back a couple hours later. started fine. then miss fired when warm. could it be the main relay?

no main relay it wouldnt start at it.. would just crank no start. recheck everything you did last week that may have caused this. did you jump a tooth when installing timing belt? did you align the balance shaft correctly. alot of possibilites here.

the timing belt is should be aligned correctly, and so is the balance shaft. i checked that about 4 times before and after the timing belt. today i was looking at it. got it to stall, crank no start. and a code 15 came up.
it ran fine for a week. i would think if i had a problem that i would notice that right away. im going to check everything over tomorrow when i go back to work.

well. everything is good up to the ignitor. now should i be getter 12v to the ignitor or 14.4v. im thinking the the crappy aftermarket ignitor is over heating either by the engine or getting to much voltage to it.
