Default Metallic "squeak" in left-front wheel driving me crazy. Brakes? Bearing? Thoughts?

Hi, I have a 2001 Accord EX (4-cyl) with 39K miles. I had new front brakes done at 34K, but recently there's been a metallic squeaking coming from the left front wheel when the brakes are warmed up and I'm moving slowly (5-15 mph) and lightly turning to the left (coincides with the rotation of the wheel). Originally dealer said it was after-market shim that had slipped. Shim fixed, still squeaking. As it seems to happen more as things heat up, dealer (2nd visit) straightened out dust/heat shield as they said it was scraping the rotor. Still not resolved. Took Service Quality manager and a tech from the dealer (3rd trip there today) and they both heard the sound. They took apart the brake assembly, cleaned everything, removed any rust/corrosion/buildup, lubed everything, put it back together, STILL hearing sound. Can anyone think of anything else this could be? A bearing going bad maybe? I know typically bearings make a grinding sound, but I'm at a loss at the moment. Thanks (and sorry for the lengthy post!).

no it is not CV joint - too new for worn cv joint I believe. FYI - I just replaced my driveaxle a month ago and it had 187k miles. it was not because it is broken but the cvboot cracked and it was easier to replace the whole thing than just the cv boot. yours has only 39k miles so it can not be the cv joint in my opinion. it looks like something like new pads being breaking in?

Just a follow up: Still no luck after the 4th trip to the dealer. This time they swore one of the rotors was warped and scraping once things were warmed up. Unfortunately, new pads, new rotors, and $450 later, it's making the same...exact...freakin' sound. Going back Wednesday morning. Hopefully 5th time will be the charm. Obviously not a brake issue, so hopefully I'll be able to get my money back and they can focus on the suspension/steering (which, thankfully, is under warranty). Thanks for the help so far, and if anybody has any ideas - I'd love to hear 'em.

Unfortunately, yes, I did, but that includes good old labor from the dealer - still feel dirty and violated, but I wanted to get this crap fixed once and for all.

Ain't no way in hell I'd pay $450 just to get rid of an annoying squeak! **** I drive around with a muffler that's slowly rusting apart. It obviously isn't anything major or life threatening or else they'd have picked up on it by now. Fourth time to the shop and $450 down the drain for stuff you didn't need, time to throw in the towel IMO and crank up the radio like I said before.

Oh and Chicago's weather sucks!!! Yesterday night I spent an extra 5.5 hrs stranded at Ohara trying to get back to Columbus, OH. When I left the weather predictions were all nice and clear...got back at 1:30 in the morning ERRRRR!!!

Ehh...$450 is alot. But then I can't stand any squeaking sounds. Drives me up the wall.

I just got back from a trip to Wisconsin myself. Freakin' cold up there. Luckily I managed to avoid the snow and escaped despite the 50 MPH wind gusts.
