B20's actually have quite a bit of torque stock expecially when only having to move a civic. Even the CRV which ways as much as a V6 6th gen accord could run a high 16 when it had the B20 in there. take off about 600+ pounds and that engine makes for a very quick civic.

Are you kidding me?
A DOHC B20 Civic would blow my doors off.
A DOHC VTEC B20 Civic would blow my doors off and suck my headlights out.

Accords are not that heavy, just look at a 3000GT VR-4, 3700lbs. Probably the heaviest Japanese car ever made under $50k.

Yeah, and the Supra TT, 300 ZX TT, Corvette (C4, C5, ZR1, Z06) etc are much heavier than Accords... but they got the ponies for it.
