...ain't nothin' better than taking parts from the junkyard and "forgeting" to pay for them... he he he...

Freaking junkyear I go to, always charge so much more than they state in their parts list of prices. They deserve to get robbed... just a bunch of muthafu.....

But on the subject I go to Chesterfield Auto Parts in Richmond Va.
You get in the yard for $1.00 and can get out of there with whatever you want for under $20 usually. I had a box of interior parts for my 1981 Volvo and the guy just told me to have a good day. So it really depends what bone yard you go to

Im surprised no one has mentioned Aadlen bros off Tuxford and the 5 fwy in Sun Valley...theyes always good stuff there but they tend to keep their cars out in the yard longer than Pick Your Part or other places. Their prices are really good too compared to PYP, which always charges ridiculous prices for things.

You know what's hilarious? I've driven by that place for the past 2.5 years but never gone in. I've found the cars in most P-Y-P places in Sun Valley to be stripped fast & bad.

What is usually there? Care to throw out some sightings?

The good thing about that place is that no one really knows/cares about it so the cars dont get stripped as badly as PYP. Another thing is that they get some crazy cars in there...i went about two or three weeks ago and there was an EBP EM1 just chilling there...stripped, but an EM1 nonetheless. Ive also seen an FD RX7 (stripped), 2-3 CRX Sis on the same day, complete Z32 300ZX...lots of crazy cars. I just picked up a set of Skunk2 coilovers for $50 about a month ago.

Hey man, that's good to know. Thanks for the heads up.

They sure do have some scummy signage and parking lot. I always thought that place was a non-PYP dismantler.

bump for 2007

I'm starting to commonly see 94-97 Accords in the yards. I recently went to a $2 yard in the San Fernando Valley and saw 3-4 94-97 accords that weren't too badly stripped.

A few months ago, I was in Ontario at the Pick-Ur-Parts on Milliken....there's a new damn office building adjacent to the yard! I'd hate to have that view.....hahah.
Anyway, saw 3-4 94-97 accords as well.

Still haven't spotted a 98+ even though those cars are almost 10 years old soon.

Bump for 2008 and my accord sold last weekend.
What a great car it's been.

I guess this is the dawn of a new age.

Well since it's back up from the dead....

NJ has amazing junkyards lol. I've gotten everything you can think of for my Accord from them. Dash board, wheels, trunk lid, speakers, seats, etc. The best thing is that Honda's are basically 10,12, and 14 mm lol

I'm going back tomorrow for a sway bar and disc brakes
