Default INTRODUCTION - 97' Accord Indonesian style..

Hey guys.. i'm on this site since quite a while but just decided to put myself on the stage to see what ya'll think to my DD.

THERE IS A LOT MORE IF YOU JUST CONTINUE DOWN THE ROAD...TIMELINE GOES FROM 2010 UP TO MID 2012...SO HAVE FUN GUYS...TONS OF PICS

I'm half German, half Indonesian and lived the first 26 years in germany. I'm pretty much experienced in Euro style tuning and won some prizes on VW/Audi shows with my Corrado VR6 and Audi RS6. But down here in Indonesia i stick with Honda's and Skylines since there's a huge potential for modding and big scene here. My 5th gen was the first car i bought since i moved here and i keep it for all the good memory sake and also for the fact that i just love it for it's potential. It's my never ending project car, hahaha. Small compared to my new GT-R35..sure, but still lots of fun. Have done some mods already, but the big things are still to come by Aug/Sept of this year.. SIR f20B Blue Top Supercharged motor and some Bodyworks including an active rear Spoiler from the VW Corrado G60/VR6 are some of the things on my list.

Here are some older pics .. i'll put up some up-dated soon :pedo:

UPDATESSS...

I'm traveling so much recently so i didn't had much time to make good pics of my car. But here are some pics of little updates i just made with my hp.

The lexus Start engine button i brought from Saudi (Jeddah) already installed

The Momo Team 28. It is not available in this size throughout Asia. I searched 6 years. In the end i ordered it directly from Momo US and shipped it down here. It just arrived last week. I'm quite sure this must be the only one of this kind in this country, hehehe. I just love it.. makes the car feel and respond like a go-cart. Very direct.

Rest of the car when i get time to make good pictures.
Active rear spoiler is next !

Oh ya, another promised update. I'm pushing this one around now ! YES.. a *F20B*

Ported & Polished with Honda CRV 2008 Throttle Body..so far !
Comments please ..

Got that active spoiler installed too. Merely for cosmetic reasons though. but i'm pretty sure i'm the only one in Indonesia who got this thing.

Guys...here are the latest updates on my DD. I think it's a question of taste and actually not yet really match with the whole interior layout. Redoing the carpet, seats, door trim and roof line is next.. i think i make it all white with black stitches or all black with white stitches. As of now, i have done all the plastic parts. It's not sticker..it's a kind of direct printing. Anyway..here are some pics. Enjoy and please comment. Thanks

Thanks a lot guys...

actually, many items and accessories might come standard with the car or are easy to get for you over in the US. But for me, living down here in Indonesia with the car coming on the market 'spec down' and almost 'naked' it's pretty hard to find even some of the most simple accessories. So, i got to import all those things and then face 78% import taxes

Well, but i got it pretty much all now. Still have to dye my interior all black and install all the rest i haven't installed yet. Here are some pics of the thinks i got delivered today !

That's it for now .. still more to come later !!

So yesterday i went to my friends garage and brought my new stanley head lamps i bought like 2 weeks ago.

So we got right on and started the Projector install. Took us from 10am till 9pm. But it was all worth it....i changed and installed some other small things as well>>>

>>> Bi-Xenon 6000k Projector install
>>> Fog lamp 6000k HID's install
>>> All corner (turn) and reverse lights to LED's converted
>>> Front food rest area with LED lights equipped. Light up only when door opens.

I think that was quite a lot that got done in the end...even though i was ******* exhausted...but my trip back home was just awesome all the way !

Here are some pics of the result !

So, here is the work progress...

arrived at my friends shop>>

Test fit of the Projectors, settings & install>>

Foot area light>>>

Sorry for some of the crappy pics...but the working result is good i think !
I'm happy with it...

Got too busy at office recently + a new office car. So, my ride sat mostly in the garage and just came out on weekends to play. Been a couple of weeks like that now. Thought it's time to do some upgrades. So here it goes !

Interior:

Carbon shift ****
Imported steering rack assembly with interval timer function (not yet fully operational..need that ******* module)

Engine:

The K-Series project has been set back for a while. Guess i will get back on it by the end of this year. For now i'm going to get a low spec H22A Black Top in. It's just rebuild with nice goodies, ported/polished and the whole line. Well too much to write it all down. Last time tested before rebuilding it pushed 242bhp on the dyno. Should go inside in the next two or three weeks. Here are some pics:

Some others:

Some guy came buy with his S2000 as i just inspected the progress of my engine. Thought i shoot some pics of it. Here it goes:
