Intake Manifold removal
I'm replacing the blown head gaskget in my 94 Honda Accord LX F22b (non v-tec). As you can probably tell in the pictures I have most of everything off, all vaccuum lines, hoses, etc. There is only one problem, there is a wiring bundle that runs from the fuse relay, under the intake manifold (where it's braced to it in a couple of areas) and out the other side and a part of it connects to the alternator.
The Haynes manual is hazy on how to disconnect/ remove this harness, and I've been trying to figure it out for several hours now. I'm trying to take out everything (cylinder head, manifold, fuel rail) because I can't get at the lower bolts under the intake manifold to remove it from the cylinder head ( even from underneith). I'll post the video of what i'm talking about tonight, as I'm waiting for Youtube to approve it first.
thanks!
btw I managed to slip the gaskget out from under the cylinder head

Re: Intake Manifold removal (Defcon2030)
You're just going to have to get up under there and check out the harness and unplug all the connectors coming from it. Then it's just a matter of undoing all the little plastic clips that Honda always uses and all the brackets as well. It's probably mounted to the engine/frame in several places that can all be disconnected.

Re: Intake Manifold removal (Hawkze_2.3)
i just removed my head on the same motor
cut the platic clip from behind holding it on to intake. unplug everything. you actualy do not need to unbolt the manifold till after you pull the head
