I'm back. Post your tires and tire pressures
What's up y'all? I'm back from a 2-week vacation in the Philippines. ****, I'd move there if not for the traffic. I was hoping to get some parts there, but the Lude was never imported there so the H22 never came there. ATR? Forget it. There are only a handful of imported H22s, probably all in stock Preludes.
Anyways, I've set to settle on a good daily driving pressure for any of my tires. For summer I have 225/50-15 Potenza S03s (15x7 K1s) and winter I have 205/55-15 SP Sport 5000s (15x5.5 OE wheels). For the S03s I usually run 36 PSI front and rear. Anyways, post up your tire and pressure info please.

Khumo Supra's 195-60-15 34 psi winter
- too much track time and driving in summer to have a constant psi, but genrally around the same thing

205/60 15 Dunlop Sport A2's I keep em at 32 PSI cold and they are quiet around turns and good in snow/rain.
P.S. anyone with the 205/60's have rubbing issues in the back?

Bridgestone Potenza RE950 could really care less for them, but i got all four for $55 so i'm not complaining.
Anywho they're 195-60-15 and i keep them at 34-36 psi
Next i'm looking at Yokohama AVS ES100 size 205-50-15 anyone hear anything about those?

Re: I'm back. Post your tires and tire pressures (smokin rubber)
You're rubbing the inside of the rear wheel well with a 205/60-15?
I dunno anyone running that size on a 4th gen, but I don't think it would rub.
Usually too-wide a tire causes rubbing problems, but in addition to being wider, a 205/60 will have a slightly taller sidewall than a 195/60 (stock 4th gen EX size) and the larger radius might be causing the rubbing. That, or for some reason Tirerack sent you wheels with an abnormally large offset would be my guess.

Re: I'm back. Post your tires and tire pressures (Escobar)
I'm running 205/60/15 dunlop SP Sport A2 40psi fr/rr but they have only been on hte car about 2 weeks and most of that has been snow and rain, so I'm still looking for a good pressure on them.
no rubbing, but these are on a 6th gen. the oem size is 195/65, so it's not exactly a fair compairison.

Re: I'm back. Post your tires and tire pressures (jweller)
dunlop sp sport a2's @ ~38 psi for autox.
for the strip i drop the fronts down to 20 and 40 in the back.
my nittos are 215/45/17's and run ~40 psi all the time.

I have Yokohama Parada Spec-2s, 215/40-17. I keep them around 36-38psi. They are mounted on OZ Superleggas, and I just lowered my car with Pro-Kit springs and AGX shocks.

205/50-17 kuhmo 712.... 41 psi.. but i dont know why. This looks like a lot of random information but no real technical info.

is there a formula using load rating and vehicle weight for proper psi?
what psi for what conditions/driving style
