So i have a 91 accord, and the stop screw in the original throttle body was all mangled up and it wouldnt move. So i picked up another throttle body with a good screw, new gasket, and swapped them over. After i was done, the idle was really high. I figured out that this was partly due to a coolant bubble, so i bled it and it went down from 2k to 1k surges to 1500 to 1k surges. Sometimes it doesnt surge at all. I'm at a loss here, I have a couple more things to try tomorrow but if they dont work than i dont know. If i unhook the iacv the idle drops to about 700, which indicates some kind of air leak. I think it might be coming from the fitv.

Things i've done:
Bled the coolant
Adjusted the throttle body stop screw(it's all the way out, as low as it goes)
topped off the coolant and reservoir in case it was a problem
adjusted tps ( .5v, but i read somewhere it's supposed to be .45v?)

Things i'm thinking of trying:
Taking off throttle body/fitv/iacv and cleaning them
getting new vacuum hoses for map sensor and egr since they might be cracked, but when i hooked the vacuum gauge up it flattened the hose right away.
readjusting fitv after engine is hot since it might be leaking

Any ideas/questions/suggestions would be welcome, it's a pain to figure this **** out

I'd like to add a few things, i tightened the little piston inside the fitv and it made it idle a little lower, i think it's still leaking though. I'm going to clean them both tomorrow hopefully. Also i have noticed that sometimes it will just idle high, and sometimes surge. Usually when i start it up, it fast idles at around 1400, but when it warms up 99% of the time it surges from 1k-1500. I havent figured out what causes it to idle fast, but the last time it did it i had parked in a space after driving 30-40 miles, it was surging, then i went through the drive thru and when i parked in the space afterwards it was idling at 2k.
