Default Cluster F*@K

Well hey there everyone ! well being that im still a pretty new cb owner , theres some things im still not to familiar with. I already posted this question in someone elses thread on cb7 tuner , but with no answer i figured that i might get a quicker response if i just started a new thread of my own. So i know that my instrument cluster is jacked up, but i can replace parts of it to make a "Frankenstien" cluster that should do the trick just fine. The thing that i wanted to know is what do these blue looking diodes with the phillips head screw tops on the top of the cluster control ? I turned them with a scewdriver thinking that would fine tune some of the gauges (the temp gauge in particular) and im not to sure if that even did anything at all. but now i dont know what they were originally set at. the prob with the temp gauge had nothing to do with those little diodes things anyway, the problem with it was that i over tightend the three screws that hold it down in the back of the cluster and broke the connection with one of the fine copper wires inside the screw and cracked the little plastic housing. I was told by a dealer that parts out of a Nippon cluster from 92-93 dx , ex , and lx parts would work to part it out to make mine work. So if i get all the pieces together to finally assemble a working cluster , what would i adjust the little blue boxes on top of the cluster to ? thanks in advance for any helpful advice. Heres some pics of what they look like.

start your own thread on cb7tuner instead of jackin someone elses thread, i bet you'll get a response. i have never played around with those on the cluster. i would just go to the junkyard and pick up a good used cluster for a few bucks.

I did start my own thread on CB7 , and i didnt jack someone elses thread, i know better than that. the thread started was about cluster problems and the junk yard didnt have the one i was lookin for i need one for an EX , but i could also use one from a DX or LX , but I would prefer one out of an EX so that i could keep my ABS and SRS light

Didnt know that till you just mentioned it ! wells thats good to know , now i can keep an eye out if i come across one. But even if i come across another one , no one has told me what these blue diode things do , what they control , and how to adjust them (if you can even adjust then at all).
