Default Iacv problem with ecu swap

"Build" 97 accord. F22b1 Chipped Obd1 conversion. The tune is basically stock with slight timing advance. Cai. Header back exhuast. 310cc injectors..blox a.f.p.r....the car struggles.for air at idle, will not idle on its own. Starts for a second and dies. As of now i just have the throttle cable over adjusted. It throws code 14 and idles a little rough but at least stays running Ive already ruled out vaccum leaks, iacv, fast idle valve and air in the cooling system.ive cleaned the entire tbrotrle body, plenum chamber and intake manifold. I tried adjusting the idle screw, tried lowering the fuel pressure a bit.but still no improvement. Im really close to trying the old carburetor technique of simply drilling a hole in the throttle plate

No need to drill holes in anything!

Try using the stock 240cc injectors.

What are you using to tune the ECU? You can not use a basically stock tune to run 310cc injectors. You need to tune for your mods and the larger 310cc injectors!

What mods have you done to the F22B1?

People think, oh my ecu is chipped, it will run anything. Nope. Far from it.

You probably need to tune it. Having the ecu chipped is just the process of making the ecu code modifiable. From there, you need to have the correct settings in your accompanying engine managment solution.

A basemap is NOT guaranteed to start a car, ever ever ever.

Best of luck

My bad. I guess left out the fact that this is a new problem. Ive had a total of 4 re-tunes. The car was running good. Im thinking that disabling the o2 was a bad idea. What good is computerized fuel injection if the computer has no idea what the afr is

As long as your tuner knows what he is doing you can run without an O2 sensor.

Is your check engine light on? Do you have any way to monitor the ECU?

I have my o2 feedback disabled, aka I run in open loop. If you have closed loop enabled, you need to run the narrow band input into the ECU, or configure your EMS for a wideband, if available to do so. If not properly configured, the ECU will make short and long term adjustments that negatively affect driveability. Closed loop compensation needs tuned as well, it cannot just be enabled on stock settings and expected to function 100% right.
