I have a 92accord 5speed and im having a problem with noise above 4500 rpm. The clutch was slipping so I replace it hopping that the noise will go away, but it didnt. I had a mechanid tell me that it might be the timming belt is to tight, clutch pedal needs adjustments, and or bleed the clutch system correctlly. can anyone help me. thanks

What does the noise sound like?
Under what conditions do you hear the noise, every time you hit 4500 or just some of the time?
Does it make the noise in all the gears?

Yeh, we need some additional information.
Is it a:
Whine, buzz, knock, thump, whistle, howl, grind etc?
and where does it 'appear to come from?
Is it RPM sensitive?
Is it Road Speed sensitive?
Does it do it more while turning?
In any particular gear range?
all good questions

Re: high rpm noise (P_Adams)
its a scretching noise and it does it on every gear except the last gear because my car wont let me go faster than 3800 on the last gear, so yes you could say it does it in every gear and only while accelerating

If it sounds to be directly in front of the driver, I'd check the condition and tension of the accessories drive belts first.
The timing belt uses an auto tensioner and can't over-tighten.
Check your motor mounts also.
The engine could be shifting under a load and a pulley could be rubbing against something.
Sorry I can't be more helpful, but noises are terrible to diagnose like this.

Some noises are easier than others but this one could be anything given the current description.
sauljhernandez,
Do you have some sort of video recorder or camera phone that you could get a minute or two of the noise and post it online?
