Default how to replace speed sensor on 1991 accord

I need to repalce the speed sensor on my 1991 Honda Accord I found it but have had no luck on unhooking it from the electric connector. I just can not get it to come undone

Default Re: how to replace speed sensor on 1991 accord

I have a '91 Accord, the newest one in my fleet. My past Accords all have a mechanical speedometer cable. This is my first experience with the speed sensor. Neither my speedometer nor my odometer work at present. Is the speed sensor the likely culprit to look at? Is there a test that can check whether it is functional or not? I would appreciate any thoughts from those who are more experienced than I am with this equipment. Thanks!
