Default 89 Accord PA Sensor

Before I start tearing things apart on a wild goose chase, what's the precise location of the PA sensor?

Many thanks!

OK, OK, very funny.

Actually, I *did* laugh out loud.

PA sensor = air pressure sensor, which measures the ambient barometric pressure. Why it isn't called an "AP" sensor is another issue.

Comes up as error code 13 on the ECU.

Some models seem to have it in the passenger compartment, possibly near the ECU. But others seem to bury it under the dash somewhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These older posts still show, so here is the location of the PA sensor for 1988 Honda Accord LXi. It's behind the glove box. The connector faces up and it has three leads. red, green/white, yellow. You can get at it easily without moving anything; just have to lay down and look up. The latch on the connector compresses. If you've got the 13 blinks on the fault indicator under the drivers seat, this is most likely your problem. Just unplug it and you should be on your way. You might want to check the wires and replace the sensor someday, but it runs fine without it where I live; no high alt.
