Default how easy is it to bend a crank

So i bought a used f23a1 motor to replace my old one...the engine looked like was in good shape plus only 39000 miles on it...after dropping it, in my mechanic decided it was a better idea to replace the crank pulley from the used engine with the one that was on my car, since it looked rusted out a bit from sitting around...After the install I notice a slight wobble visible on my crank pulley...My thoughts were my mechanic(who already messed up a lot of things during the install) did not install the pulley the right way, knocked off the harmonic balancer, and so i need to rebuy a new pullry and go somewhere else to get the job done, right? So I go to a different mechanic who is more into engine building, but before the diagnosis could be made he tells me that the crank itself could be bent from being handled improperly(at the junk yard). Og course, he told me the pulley itself could have been messed up, but he said that he has dealt with the similair problem before...and the only way to find out is to take the whole engine apart and examine the crank itself. I've never heard of a crank getting bent, but I guess it is a possibility...
My question is this: how hard is it to bent a crank, I mean it must have been a pretty hard smack on its side, but there are no visible marks on the engine itself...plus the mechanic that had the pulley installed is a complete idiot and messed up many things on my car that i'm just now starting to realize...So the chances are it is my pulley balancer, but.........you never know.

what do you all think?

First of all, that first mechanic needs to buy everything he fucked up. Second of all, yes, the crankshaft could be bent, but i highly doubt it. Its worth it to have it looked at, though. I have a Toyota MR2 that I put a new tranny in and a lightweight flywheel, and I was drivin' down the road only going 45-50 and i heard a noise that sounded not so good.... Come to find out the Crankshaft SNAPPED in two pieces. Everyone thought I meant driveshaft, until they saw it for themselves. Crankshaft snapped. Needless to say, thats a new engine right there. So the bottom line is, yes, a crankshaft could bend or even snap, but its doubtful

i have never heard of a crankshaft to bend ,,, crack, brake yes but bend???? and the cause by being mishandled at junk yard??? i have however seen pulleys come apart the rubber in between brakes thus pulley is very wobbly and noisy as well ..

and 1 last thing get a different mechanic if you dont feel confident with the 1 u have

Did you start the new motor at all?

yes, I swapped an old block for a new one and kept my original head that i had some work done to (just rebuild it)

....thats what I thought too....prolly pullys' fawked up, cause when the revs go higher I dont feel an increase in vibration, or any weird noises.

was that the same engine you kept in there....just swapped tranny and flywheel?
The only times I feel the engine vibrate a little is when the hood is open and I'm holding my hand on it, and I can see the pulley wobble just a little. When I rev up, the vibrations are all but gone...just the sounds of a cam are heard.

BTW how long did you drive before the crank snapped? Did you notice any changes in cars behavior? i.e. valve cover felt hotter, loss of power at high rpm, weird noises at higher or low throttle?
