My SRS light goes on and off when I hit bumps and now it just stays on and it won't go off how can I reset it without deploying the airbag accidentally?

try removing the negative battery terminal from the battery and leaving it like that for ten minutes or so. See what happens then. If it is still staying on then you need to get that checked out.

Got into an accident a few months ago, if it wasn't for my passenger side airbag, my wife's face would be ruined. don't mess around with those airbags... they do save lives man.

I believe all Accords made before 94' do not have MES connector where you can systematically reset the SRS light. Ive been trying to reset my 94 accord for a while. According to the Helms manual, you have to find the fault in the SRS system and when the fault is fixed, the SRS light will automatically go out.

Yeah thanks actually it will go out when I press the right side button on the horn but yeah its been 10 years so I'm gonna have that checked out but I'll try that other thing with the negative battery cable thanks a lot dude.
