Honda Clutch Pedal Vibration
I have 2000 Accord Coupe 5 speed.
Sometimes when I depress clutch pedal I get a buzzing type vibration in pedal
which seems to increase the more the pedal is depressed. No audible noise. This does not prevent the shifting of gears and is in fact a condition that is intermittent.
No other problems with clutch and the clutch usually works fine, no slipping, etc.
No loss of clutch hydraulic fluid.
Dealer service manager thinks problem is with throwout bearing or 'fingers' that move clutch disk and wants
to put in new clutch for $1200.
Another tech @ dealer says problem is with hydraulic system.
Anyone have any ideas?
