Default Honda Accord B-Pipe- Fit question

Hello- Need to replace the B-pipe on my 96 honda accord. I've found the correct replacement part based on the OEM part number. However, on the original pipe, the flex section is next to the cat, and on the replacement one, the flex section is after the resonator. Does this make any difference?

Default Re: Honda Accord B-Pipe- Fit question

It shouldn't make a big difference... although, my '97 has a B-pipe like this, and it's worth noting that the flex section is blown out and sounds like ***. I'd guess that the flex being farther back puts more strain on it compared to the flex being farther forward in the exhaust.

Really, it shouldn't make a difference. Just use this as an excuse to upgrade.
