!!!Help Please!!! Accord 1994 Overheating
Honda Accord 1994 is overheating while on a Stop sign or a traffic light Temp Gauage goes to Red Mark as soon as I accelerate, gauge slowly starts coming down.
Bleeded the system 3 times for any air or pocket through bleeder valve and Radiator cap. One interesting thing I have to fill the Reservoir bottle and radiator after almost 2 days as it goes empty but then for almost 2 days no issue of overheating then again reservoir, radiator goes empty while I do not see any visible leaks or coolant leaking.T-stat is fine, if radiator is clogged how can I clean it real good by myself.
Please help and advise with any solutions as I am pulling my hairs no other source of transporatation

I don't think your issue is the fans. I have a '92 Prelude and a '92 Accord. The fans don't work on either and I have never had an issue with over heating. I drove my Prelude that way for 7 years, and I even tracked it without issue.
Does your car run fine besides the overheating?
Your coolant has to be going somewhere. How long has the overheating been happening? If it started recently, check your oil to see if it looks odd.

Ok, I think you posted this a while back.
"T-stat is good" - Replaced when?
"Coolant leaking close to exhaust"-More info please.
Pressure test showed?
"Fill everything (overflow and rad) and it runs fine for ~2 days then needs more"
Sorry, it is going somewhere. There is UV dye that can be added to the coolant, if you can't see it leaking any where and the other tests show nothing. I think you also posted about replacing hoses and that. Cold leak, leaks when hot? Dye might help find that.

T-Stat is good I have replaced it like 1.5 yrs back.
I think rear end of the Motor as I have seen leaking today precisely beneath the O2 sensor area after 45 min drive during Drive no Overheating.
Yes right after 2 days need more coolant and starts to Overheat.
I think leaks when hot as I kept the Car start today in the morning for 25 min to check leak but no Leak from anywhere.
Heater core, bypass and 2 other small hoses are new, upper, lower radiator hoses are in ok condition.
Normally heats up on a traffic light, stop sign then continue till I start to cry or turn off the car but when I accelerate temp guage starts moving down.
If the radiator is clogged what could be the symptoms??
Pleas help and advise

Re: !!!Help Please!!! Accord 1994 Overheating
Ok. Then the overheating is only due to the leaking coolant.
Check the heater hose that goes from the firewall to the black metal coolant pipe on the back of the engine. It should be on the driver's side on the back of the engine block. Mine came loose one time.

on another note ... i wanna know if there is away that somethign like a valve or whatever would stick and not allow the coolent to fun thru the engine.. i have a 94 as well, though only one fan works and the A/C dosnt, it never did sence i got it. i'ma look into fixing it but still didnt have this issue till a while after havieng the car already. soo if someone could say where a valve is that might be getting stuck would be great! thanks Tamy

i would drain the oil and look to see if there is any anti-freeze in there. if there is, your head gasket might be blown, since you did say there was a leak near the exhaust.

People dont clean radiators anymore. They are so cheap to buy. Just buy a new one. One for that model and year would be About $80 shipped.
