I have a 2000 accord that drive perfect but when i get on the gas and it gets to 4000 rpm it starts shuddering and jerking like its got a govener on it..after it comes down and it stays under 4k no probs...any ideas ...

if it is vtec check the oil maybe the oil pressure is to low to engage vtec thats why it is jerking

I'm not good with diagnosing problems like this by no means but the only thing i could think of is it may be your injectors may be clogged. When u get on it and it starts shooting more fuel with them being clogged, it may not be getting enough to support the rpm's

check the oil and if thats good take off the vtec silinoid and clean that oil screen behind it

thanks to all just wanted some ideas...to see that maybe someone had the same prblem...other than that she drive like a beauty..just got it and going to buy new projector lights tomorrow...
