Help identify fan on 95 Accord EX V4
On my 95 Accord EX V4, which is the "radiator" fan and which is the "condenser" fan? The driver side fan has 4 blades, and comes on as car heats up at a certain temperature. The passenger side fan has 5 blades, and does NOT come on, even when A/C switch is on; hence my A/C does not work. I know it's the fan since hot-wiring it to the battery (for testing) does not spin it. The 1A Auto YouTube video on replacing a condenser fan indicates that the fan that comes on when A/C switch is on is the "condenser" fan. However, their site calls a 4-blade fan as the condenser fan, and the 4-blade fan as "radiator" fan.
Confused now?

That site is probably just generalizing what a car could have, not what a car does have. Just pick up a fan that actually works for your car and be done with it.

Correct, although IMO, misleading. Shouldn't the fan that comes on when the A/C condenser comes on be called the "A/C condenser fan?"

Both fans comes on when the a/c is on...provided the a/c works properly. The radiator fan does come on when the a/c fan comes on at all times when the ignition is on...when the fan switch tells it to(at a high enough coolant temperature). The only difference is when the car is off...the "radiator" fan will be the only fan to come on at that time..provided the coolant is at a high enough temperature.
