Help- Error Code P1607
I have 2001 Honda Accord, manual transmission that the check engine is on and when my RPM hit 3, the car jerks and won't go faster on the same gear. This only happens in the cold morning when I first used it. It does not happen every day.
I took it to dealership and they told me to replace the PCM, which will cost $ 825. They told me the error code is P1607.
Do anybody has same experience or know what to do in this case. I don't want to replace the PCM/spend $ 825
Thanks
Gunter

P1607 Engine Control Module (ECM)/Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Internal Circuit Malfunction.
Thats the facts Jack.
Try salvage yards?
LKQ is a national chain of salvage yards.
The only other thing you could do is open that sucker up and look for something burnt or a poor solder joint.
