Default HELP- Car alarm won't shut up, now car won't start

Hi guys! My name is Angela. This is my first post, obviously. Alas, I wish it wasn't under such stress. Okay so here is how the story goes.

I have a 1996 automatic Honda Accord EX. I believe the alarm was OEM as well.

I was looking to replace my old, dirty, air filter when I noticed an awful lot of corrosion around my battery posts and terminals. I decided I'd go ahead and clean them up. I took off the negative terminal, cleaned it and when I went to put it back on my alarm started to go off. Here is the back story on my alarm.

---About 6 months ago my alarm stopped working, much to my relief. I had been having lots of problems with it going off and my clicker not deactivating it. So when it finally died I was elated and didn't bother to investigate as to why. After today thought I'm thinking it had to do with the abundance of battery corrosion around the posts.

Anyhow, I started to freak out because I remembered the my clicker for the alarm hadn't worked 6 months prior and it wasn't going to work this time. I grabbed the clicker from inside my house, and as I had suspected it didn't work. I took the negative terminal back off the post and started to look up information on alarms. I came to a lot of websites discussing splicing wires, fuses, valet switches, etc... NONE of them were of any help. So finally, I decided to just cut the wires leading to and from my alarm speaker. First I cut 2 black ones. I put the terminal back on the battery post, and the alarm went off again so I decided to cut the other 2 wires. I then cut a pair of black and red wires. That was the remedy to my problem..the alarm stopped.

NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM! Along with the alarm stopping, so did my car. My car no longer turns over. I put the keys in the ignition, turn it and nothing. The dash lights up...the oil and battery lights are lit, and I hear what sounds like my turn signals going off as well. I double, triple and quadruple checked to make sure the terminals were back on properly, which they were. The only conclusion that I can come to is that one of the wires I cut is now interfering with my car starting. Like I said, first there were 2 black wires that I cut, then a red and black pair.

What have I done?

2 black and 2 red = it was inline.

You need to connect those together

Red > Red
Black > Black

And the alarm will be "going off" but without a speaker.

Or wait it was two black then a red and black?

I would assume one of the first black is technically a red.

First thing would be to find out if it's OEM or not

Just have the thing professionally dismantled. While they do that, figure they'll re-attach the other wires...
