have a friend that has a 97 honda accord 2 door coupe..

she needs to get a new rear bumper and we found one for a 96-97 4 door.. can anyone tell me if they know forsure if the bumper will fit??? please let me know..

we only need the bumper cover.. not the whole metal bar and support, only the bumper cover..

Pretty sure 96-97 are the same. No noticeable visual difference. 94-95 are definately different.

Why not call a dealership and ask them if 96-97 coupe and sedan rear bumpers are the same?

i havent had a chance to get on the phone yet to call a dealership.. a friend of mine works at one i jsut need to talk to him and he can probably find out, but i was trying to findout now..

can anybody else tell me forsure if they are the same or not? she can get a brand new oem replacement 4dr bumper for 80 shipped or if she has to get one from a 2dr its looking like 130+ and she would still need it painted..

thanks.. i also verified w/ a friend that is a service writer at a dealership.. said they are the same part number..
