Default full synthetic vs synthetic blend

please clear this up for me honda mates...i didn't realize this but i started out with mobil 1 full synthetic and then switched to synthetic blend on the next oil change without even knowing the difference, then the other night when i went to pep boys to buy a case of oil, i queried a worker and she said the difference was synthetic has a blend of real oil and partial synthetic, while full synthetic has only synthetic and she said once i use one type don't switch to the other. i realized full synthetic cost $4/quart vs synthetic blend $2, which one should i use? and since i already switch the 2 type at least once already, will it do major damage to my engine? when i take it to the dealership what type do they use? thanx accord mate

here's the logic-

dinosaur oil leaves deposits in your engine over time.

switching to synthetic will cause these deposits to deteriorate.

the deterioration of the deposits could actually cause oil leaks because the oil can now travel to places that it could not have previously traveled, and due to their age, the seals may no longer seal.

I'd buy full synthetic and not worry about it.

this is partially true.....

the blend is not both mixed but rather an oil with properties of both.....

Hey look closely on the Mobil-1 FUll synthetic bottle and read what it has to say on the back. It states that you can switch anytime to convention oil or in your case ,synthetic blend. You should be fine switching to a blend.
