fuel pump change
I have a 91 honda accord EX , do i have to drop the tank to change the pump? It's accessible through the trunk unlike other models where its located under the seat.

Re: fuel pump change
yes u will need to drop the tank. a transmission jack helps alot. youtube.com has a video of a 90-93 accord fuel pump replacement. 98-02 accords have the fuel pump access hole in the trunk

Or you can cut an opening? There is a panel where you can "test" the wires and that but it is not large enough to remove the pump....cut it larger and you are there
Up to you, by the book the tank has to come out/down.
PS - to "94", the older gens would change thru the trunk as well - glad to see that you are learning the differences in the gens of accords.

Re: fuel pump change
currently having a no start situation..it seems as if the gas is not coming up. the fuel pump and fuel pump relay is brand new. I have a 91 Accord EX. Not too concerned that it's the timing because the distributor, cap, and rotor are all relatively new as well.
