If it was mine, I would leave it be unless it was causing a problem.

4 bolts, one top banjo bolt, one bottom flare nut, 2 screws for the side bracket. It's a BITCH. If you don't want to relocate it, then take it to a shop to have it done, they can do them in about half an hour.

Good luck

Just had mine replaced by my mechanic, you need a special tool for it otherwise its an absolute *****. Even then, he wasnt using a hoist and it took some effort to get it out.

I ended up unbolting my fuel line from the fuel tank, and removing the line all the way to the filter, then removed the line to the top side of the filter, undid the bracket that holds hte fuel filter, then pushed it up through the engine compartment and took it off there, replaced it, then put it all back together, except bolting the filter down, i just let it bee.

I just replaced mine last night... it WAS a bitch.
You have to work through a space in the plumbing the size of a grapefruit, and thats a liberal comparison...
sure I cut myself and got fuel all over, but I feel acomplished...no...like a MAN!!
