Forbidden JDM parts...
Got this jem, a pair of JDM corner lights for my 97 accord. Mint condition, chrome housing(might paint it black later). The housing only has a place for one bulb, but I have two bulbs in factory harness. I figure it's ok, will put one in and seal the other one for future side markers. I try to put it in and it doesn't go in. I compare my aftermarket one and the jdm one. Holy s**t the jdm one is like twice the size. There's no way I'm not using these jdm cornering lights so I pull out my saw and start cutting the headlight bracket. I try to put it in but it still doesn't go in. Turns out the metal bumper support is in the way, I pull out my hammer and sink that sucker down. The fit is stil not perfect because the little bracket for the screw doesn't quite reach. Out of desperaty, I do proper jdm dyi zip tie. Installed it and it's hard to tell the difference between the aftermarket USDM one and JDM one .
So I am missing something? Do JDM corner lights have different bracketes or bumpers? Also technically I could use the spare bulb wires to route them for the side marker?

pleaseeee, do not paint the chrome corners black. they are hard enough to come by and it would be easier to trade them for a set of black.

I actually got a hold of Depo black headlights which I'm going to put in, so I'm going to sell these. I wish I haven't butchered the back side lol
