F22B1 to F22A?
My buddies dads 94 Accord EX with about 300k blew a head gasket and the coolant got into the oil, we found a JDM F22 Non VTEC for cheap and I was wondering if we can swap that in place of the VTEC engine? Can we also use the same transmission? (automatic) Do we have to get a new ECU? or can we use the F22B one? Might have a CEL for the VTEC, but would it work? Thanks in advance.

You will need the Non VTEC (F22B2-P0B) ECU if you want it to run. One from a 94/95 non VTEC Automatic Accord would work.
You will also need the F22A intake and exhaust manifolds. Keep your F22B1 distributor.

The F22B Non VTEC also came in the Odyssey and I found a AT ECU would that one work also?

F22B6 is the Ody engine. Similar to the B2 but with a power band closer to that of the B1 during VTEC operation. But it is down 5HP and up 5torque. If your car is an AT then using the AT ECU will be no problem.
