Will a F22B1 Auto Trans work with a F23A1 engine in a 98+ Accord will the 98+ mount fit on the F22B1 Auto Trans 94-97?

Should all bolt up fine. As for the TCU and wiring, that may be a problem.

And actually he could probably work around the wiring if he really wanted to. But for simple plug and play, it most likely will not work.

and he would not be able to work around the electrical part since the TCU controls more things on the 98-02 accords than it did in previous models he would have to do a lot of work and he might as well change it to a manual as it would be cheaper

newer trans has things like linear pressure switch that is controlled by the TCU

if he runs a 96-97 tranny which had the tcu incorporated into the ecu it may work, but im pretty sure he's just asking about the mechanical aspect

Year stamped on engine on head is 96 which means it was in a 97... ID tag of tranny says BOYA ... reason i am asking is someone was interested in it and may have a 98 plus car just wanted to know before i sell someone something...

I was curious about everything electrical and mechanical... mount is the same too for the trans? and rear bracket?
