F22b1 1997 Accord EX ECU/O2 Sensor
Hello I Have a 1997 Honda Accord EX F22b1
I realized that my Downpipe has no o2 Sensor on it. i do believe it has one by the CAT. And my friends 1997 Accord LX has a o2 Sensor on the down pipe but mine does not.
Is that normal?
or do i have a differnt ECU? I am the 3rd Owner. and when i bought this car i have noticed that it may have modification.
i noticed it has a 1994 Accord 5spd Transmisson. and it also makes me wonder if maybe they also put a different engine in it but im not sure.
Anything can Help.
Thank you!

Re: F22b1 1997 Accord EX ECU/O2 Sensor
Is this a USDM, JDM, or EDM model?
The USDM 94-95 OBD1 Accords only used only 1 O2 sensor. (HO2S)
F22B1 - Before the Catalytic Converter
F22B2 - Manifold/Down pipe
Both the USDM 96-97 OBD2 F22B1 & 2 Accords used 2 O2 sensors (PHO2S & SHO2S)
PHO2S - Manifold/Down pipe
SHO2S - Aft or the Catalytic Converter
So in short any OBD2 US/CDN Accord from 96+ should have 2 Heated Oxygen Sensors. If you are located outside of North America I'm not sure about the configurations/regulations.
