Default F20B help...

I got an f20b that i put in amy 97 accord, its obd2 but im trying to convert the motor to obd1. I went about using the 94-95 accord harness since that car is obd1 and the harness plugs right in the 97 accord. The car cranks but it wont fire so im s little confused as to whats wrong here. All sensors are connected, im using a ecu jumper harness. Im just a little lost with why the cars not starting...?
Seeing as i switched to the 94-95 accord harness is that causing my issue by not reusing the 96-97 accord harness?

I had this same set up in my 95 accord prior to putting it in the 97 accord and it worked just fine.

Car: 97 accord
Engine: 99 F20b
Harness: 94-95 accord obd1 (used with jumper harness)
Dizzy: td-61u h22a external coil
Ecu: p13

Your harness is probably for an internal coil. Test for spark.

94-95 accords use external coil. Whats the easiest way to check for spark?
Ive seen online about bypassing the crank sensor, could it have something to do with that?

thats not entirely correct but its up to you what you want to believe

if ur using a full obd1 harness you wont need to bypass the existing crank sensor in your car with the correct distributor, which you appear to already have

.....getting it to start was one thing, idling bad is another.

after getting the engine to start it idles bad (at 3-400 rpm) at times it boggs down almost as if it wants to cut out. I've check every wire and sensor and everything is connected except my vtec solenoid/pressure switch (I doubt those two would make the engine runs how it is..)

I find that the car runs better on my p06, but when I use the p13 it has more of a rough idle mainly because Knock Sensor is not connected. I would assume this could be disabled possibly improving the idle a slight bit....

The setup ran fine prior to being pulled out of my other car in November, and now its the opposite could anyone chime in and let me know what I could possibly look at to help solve my idle issue.

Thanks

Both the ecus i have are chipped. I wouldn't try to run an F20 off a stock civic ecu.
