F20b dohc vtec SiR swap
Hello guys. I am new to this forum and I am not sure if this topic has been touched on. I have a 97 accord coupe that was powered by a F20b sohc non vtec engine and i am goin to swap in a F20b dohc vtec engine(blue top) which came with ecu and wiring harness. The sohc is obd1 and the dohc is obd2b.i am also goin to reuse my original auto tranny which has its separate obd1 unit. How do i wire up the engine with the obvious differences of obd1 and obd2b? thanks

put obd1 stuff on the engine with a reprogramed ecu for the engine, like h22a obd1 dizzy, keep your alternator, mods your wiring harness or get it done by somebody for all other sensor, you already have the engine harness so I assume you have all connector on it,it's just a time consuming thing, good luck with the auto trany to keep up the engine !

Um. He'll need OBD1 H22 injectors, OBD1 H22 Distributor(Internal or External), '96 OBD1 P13 ECU, Re-wire the CKP sensor, and a OBD1 H22 Intake Mani to retain the H22 OBD1 2-wire IACV.

I had bought the engine with the s-matic tiptronic tranny. Would it be easier to wire the car with this tranny or the automatic tranny as mentioned before?
