Default F Series Engine with H Series Tranny

So My transmission just took a crap on my '97 Accord. So mad because I just changed the clutch. It would be cheaper to replace it as far as I know. I just found a tranny for a 92 Prelude. Now as far as I know, they should be interchangeable(?). It's on sale for $250. If they are interchangeable, what do I need? Just the transmission?

Also would I need to drill and tap out the Prelude transmission for use in my CD5? I read you do but that was for the CB7, don't know if it is much different. Do I also use a prelude transmission mount or the Accord mount?

The case should be the same. It's the same family of transmission, the only difference will be the gear ratios.
Simply remove anything that you will need from your current transmission, mount, if the VSS is different, brackets, etc. and put them on the prelude transmission.

Alright sounds good. Let us hope this goes smoothly. The shorter gearing will make it a bit more fun too i hope.
