Every time I turn right, my car stumbles...
I have a 91 EXR, and when I turn right and a little low on gas, it cuts out throttle ...like the motor's not getting any fuel. I have changed the fuel filter and cleaned the injectors. Any ideas as to what's causing the problem? Ya ya "put some more gas in it"...I do delivery in this car, I am always low on gas!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My 92 used to do that. Shortly after the fuel pump went out completely. Not saying that's definitely your problem. Just something to check out. GL

In a Junkyard near you.
yea either a dying pump or you may have an issue in the tank. How hard of a right turn are we talking here? You may want to inspect the bottom of your tank for damage.

Have you ever had any issues with running over curbs or other debris? It sounds like either the Fuel tank sending unit is reading incorrectly (and you've less fuel in there than you think, the fuel pickup has been forced up away from the tank bottom (by suspected impact) or a prior Fuel Pump replacement left the fuel pickup elevated off the tank bottom.
It sounds like the fuel pickup becomes uncovered when you turn, and you loose pressure.

I automatically thought it would be a sending unit problem, but I was sure that someone else on the board experienced the same thing and would make my process of elimintaion much easier. I have no problems starting, high rpm, left turns...etc. ONLY when I turn right, fuel leaves the pump (when I am low on gas). Mind you, they are semi-hard turns...ha ha...it does it sometimes right as I am leaving the apex! It's so annoying...Is there any way of knowing how far down the pump should be if the last installer screwed it up? Maybe my screen is clogged a bit..that could do it. They body has 325k (200m) and god knows when it was changed last.

One way you may be able to duplicate what's going on is this:
Tap into the fuel rail with a mechanical fuel pressure gauge.
Tilt the car to the left* (to simulate the 'G' Forces impacting the fuel during a right turn)
Start the engine and watch the pressure gauge.
If it's sucking air, the pressure will drop (and the noise will increase from the pump)
*Jack up the R/Side of the car.

In what way? From being able to duplicate the problem? Or were you able to put your finger on the problem?
