i have a 1991 accord and an f20b dohc vtec engine that im planning on swapping into it but i was told i needed an ecu for it but i don't know what one would work.so can anyone plz help me?

use a p13. unless if you are planning on having a chipped ecu, I recommend a chipped p28. the p13 will make the car run a little richer, which will be good. make sure you are using the h22 injectors too. somehow with the f20b, I have seen better luck using the h22 intake manifold, with h22 injectors. the h22 injectors are bigger in cc's than the f20b. and make sure you have the sir-t motor, not just the sir motor. there are a good amount of horsepower difference.

k thanx and yea im sure its the sir-t motor because its the blue top dohc vtec manual transmission version with 200 hp and thanx for the tip about the injectors cuz i was alredy planning on using an h22 parts like the intake and exhaust manifold .

well, both the sir and the sir-t are blue tops. you just gotta make sure by looking at the throttle body size. the auto is small like crazy, and the 5 speed one is a good size. good luck on your swap.

Yea it is huge lo so in that case then it is the sir-t but i got a few more Q's. What other things am i going to need for the swap?cuz i know it bolts in directly and i only have the car and the f20b wiyh the 5-speed transmission.

Ok so heres my question not to thread jack but which axles do you use with this motor for a CD5 5th gen accord? H22, F22?

Find somebody that has an f20b map and chip a p28. I have a virgin p28 for sale if you need one. That will be your best bet to getting that motor running great. F20b maps are only found on obd2 maps I think but if im not mistaken can be converted to obd1.

i have ab F20B(sir-t) will it make a difference increasing the size of the throttle body by 1-2mm or is the stock one fine?also what difference does h22 injectors and manifold make?
