destroked h22???
hi i have the european honda accord 2.0l vtec with an F20B6 engine, it is commonly described as a destroked h22. My big question is does that mean that the block of my engine would take a h22 head????? i know there isnt alot of information on my engine specifically but if it were an easy question it wouldnt be as much fun lol also another question the f20b sir-t has 200bhp as standard is the difference between my f20b6 and the f20b just the head as the f20b6 is a sohc at 150bhp? any information or any enlightenment on this would be greatly appreciated or any opinions would be good too i look forward to hearing peoples thoughts

Re: destroked h22???
to my knowledge you can do the h head on the f motor and it probably is just destroked. somewhere on here I saw a sheet with bore and stroke of all the engines, most likely your engine has shorter rods or a shorter throw crank. it could be a smaller bore too, im really not that up on hondas motors.

Re: destroked h22???
As far as I know your engine IS an H22. Your head should be an H22. The only difference is the crankshaft and connecting rods. I am actually looking to destroke my H22 in the next couple years, wanna trade parts?
