Cruise control

Cruise control
I have a 2002 Honda Accord SE. The cruise control is not working. Both lights come on, but it won't engage. The cancel button turns the dashboard light off. I have checked all fuses (both inside and under the hood) and replaced vacuum lines. I replaced the cruise control module under the hood, as well as the controls on the steering wheel. The brakes come on, so I'm assuming the brake switch is okay. Is there anything else I can check?

Re: Cruise control
Hawkeye,
I know this post is almost a year old, but I have the same issue. The main on/off switch for the cruise comes on. When i press SET on the steering wheel, the CRUISE CONTROL light comes on, yet the cruise does not engage. When I hit cancel on the steering wheel, the CRUISE CONTROL light goes out.
So, were you able to get your fixed? Mine is on a 2002 Accord LX model. Any other suggestions out there? This appears to be an all electronic cruise control methodology. I do not see where there would be anywhere to connect a vacuum line to the control module.
Suggestions are highly welcomed!
