Default cranks but want start

I have a 96 accord lx with 258000 miles. Each time I start it, it will run for 5 minutes and then stops. I have changed rotor, distributor cap, main relay, cleaned EGR valve and air filter. After sitting over night, I can start it again and it will do the same thing. Right after it quits running, when I crank again, it will crank and want start. Does any one have any suggestions ?

Start by finding out what is missing when it dies.

When it won't start, are you getting spark at the plugs? Are you getting fuel to the injectors?

This ^x2

and another question, does the check engine light come on when it dies? if it does you could also try to retrieve the codes from the ECU.

does it give any warning before stalling? if so it may be an issue of not maintaining enough fuel pressure, this could be caused by a number of things, but the cheapest by far is the fuel filter, not to mention, a new one usually can't hurt anyway.

I am installing a fuel filter now to see if that will solve the problem. It does not give any warning when it stalls. Also the check engine light does not come on when it dies. After I get the filter on, I will check for spark if it dies on me. I a heck of time getting the filter off. I am working outside in cold weather, but I will give you feedback when I finish the next phase.

I forgot to mention the radiator fan has not been working, but I have not had any problems with it running hot.

Thanks to all those who gave me valuable input.
