Clicking from front wheel wells when turning
Hi,
I have a '94 Accord and when I make turns I hear this loud clicking noise in the the wheel wells. It happens both on right and left turns. The car has 120,000 miles. I think it may be the cv boot, but what else can it be and how mcuh am I looking at to reapir it. Thanks.

Re: Clicking from front wheel wells when turning (Honda Family)
That clicking is probably your CV joint as you expect. You can always just get the boot which is messier, cheaper, and in my opinion more risky as you may have dirt on the joint itself which is not good.
Or you can get the whole CV axles which you can probably find installed for like $100.

Re: Clicking from front wheel wells when turning (H2290)
sounds like it but for the sake of butt dyno, check it out one more time.
look for a empty flat parking lot at night, go make some circle, around 30 mph, if there's any damage to your CJ axle, you will hear the click.
dont forget to check the other side also.
you are looking at 100 per side

Re: Clicking from front wheel wells when turning (2+2=5)
I had the same problem.
It could be the endlinks. I had the same problem, but I had the clicking noise while turning AND when I hit any bump on the road.

try this post. I changed it myself. Was very easy.

Stealerships are quoting me $370 parts and labor per side. How hard is this to do? Do I need a lift? Even Firestone quoted me $470 for both sides.
