Are you talking about the whole axle yourself or do you just want to replace the CV boot? Changing the axle out is easy. You just take the SOB Axle nut off, lower ball joing bolt off, swing out the brake assembly and pry out the axle from the tranny.

The CV joint is part of the axle. Some people like to just replace the whole axle because it's easy. Usually on Hondas it's not too expensive.
If you want to replace only the rubber boots, then you have to dismantle the CV joint, put in fresh grease, & put on the new boot. That's labor $$$$...
I suppose you can replace just the outer CV joint, but I don't know if that's any cheaper than replacing the whole axle.

if u near the philly area i'll tell u about a place where u can get fixed ones from the factory. it's called CORDONE INDUSTRY and it is located in raising sun ave. i got mine for $80 but u got to take the old ones back
