Default Car sounds like an airplane underload. (friends car)

Car: 95 Accord

A friends of mines car recently started sounding like an airplane. No joke lol. I thought at first maybe it was an exhaust leak. After jacking the car up and inspecting down below everything seemed up to par. Also i reved it while it was on jack stands and the noise doesnt exist.

Sound only comes underload. I got a sound clip of it and its around 14 sec mark. I dont know to much about the accords so hoping to find some help from you guys.

I also thought maybe it was perhaps the tires but she claims it just begun about a month ago.

Anyhow heres the clip!

Thanks in advanced guys,

Mondo

*edit this is just cruising also going no more then 50 mph*

So is it coming from the engine or the tires? Check the lug nuts and make sure they're all tight...sometimes it sounds like an airplane from loose nuts. But, that sounds more like the engine to me....

sounds like its coming from under the hood but whether its the actuall engine i cant tell since you only hear it while its being driven. Ill check the lugs.

Could be the alternator....kind of like a winding or whirring noise?

hmm....i don't think its like either. My CRX alternator did the whirring noise before. Its literally like an airplane taking off.

Could pulleys cause this type of noise if they were a bit warped or loose? I only say that because i do recall her mentioning something to me yesterday about a pulley being bent but i didn't ask her if that happen around the time the noise started.
