Default Car not starting.

1997 SE Accord Auto.

I left the battery unconnectected for about 3 days and i went to put everything back together and it wouldnt start so i jumped it let it run for a bit, brother drove it so i figured the alternator would have charged it back up (mabey not?) and the next day it wouldnt start, when u turn the key to start the car u get the "click click click click click click" until u let the key off, so this time i jumped it and let it run for about 30mins and then shut it off waited for a few mins then it started up so i was like coo well the next day it wouldnt start lol. However my brother said he would move the battery terminals and tried to start it and it started, so i figured hey its the connecters to the battery so i got some new ones replaced everything and i still get the clicking (this was after the car sat for a day or two) well this time it clicks like "click click.....click click click.........click" like its dieing down so i figured its the battery . I got it tested and it says it is good (supposivly)

could it be an ignition switch or a starter or something? I figured it just the battery b.c i let it sit unconnected for 3 days or so , but i dont know. I dont wanna go replacing 1000 dollars worth of stuff when it could have been a 100 dollar fix. Any help would be appricated.

before i let it sit after i dissconnected the battery for 3days it start up perfectly fine everytime.

ps i have had this problem before and i let it ran for 30mins or so and after that it was fine all the way uptill 3days ago. Should i let it run this time for longer to see if it works?

Check the battery cables both at the battery terminals and at the other ends (ground and starter). Make sure the connections are clean and tight. Also, look at the cables where they enter the crimped connections for any fraying or corrosion. BTW, It would be cheaper to borrow a battery charger and charge the battery overnight instead of running the car for thirty minutes.

I had this exact problem. You have to make sure that the wires connected to the battery are extremely tight. If they are not the car will not start and It feels like the starter is blown. That should do the trick.

this might soudn ghetto but i found this thing that has 4 ***** in it (diffrent colors) and i guess u get a sample of the battery water and if all ***** float it is fully charged, the less ***** float the less charge it has. On the package it just says "voltage" so im gonan guess it just tests voltage. When i tested mine all 4 ***** floated.
