Default Canadian guys: EX-R trim?

I want to remove the gawdawful "gold" Honda emblems on my Accord. You guys have any pictures of the factory "EX-R" emblems that came on your cars? I looked on GOOGLE and found nothing.

I wouldn't mind a set of those, better than those ricey "Type-R" emblems.

I do not have any pictures on hand but I'm sure I can snap a few with my cell next time I see one, if no one post pictures. I see at least one a day so getting the photo will be no problem.

No emblems would look better.

Who wants to look like a canadian anyway?

I would really appreciate those pics.

By the way, I assume I can order those emblems from a Canadian Honda dealership, but do they ever pop up on e-bay? Or craigslist?

I'm gonna call my local Honda dealer and see if I can order some of them.

The guys at the dealership were looking at me like I was stupid. Any of you guys ever get your hands on the EX-R emblems? I'm sure you could make some easy money if you get them off junk cars and sell them on e-bay/craigslist.

I guess I'm in the market for two chrome Accord EX-R emblems...preferably for the ones used on 94-95s....

Honda America techs probably don't have access to Honda Canada stuff.

Just use Ebay.

What?

He wants an EX-R badge, not the gold plated USDM option EX badge.

Anybody who knows anything about hondas knows that anything that is "-R" is faster. Thats why my canadian EX-R will own your simple EX

USDM EX is the exact same car as the CDN EX-R. But you already knew that right. 145hp F22B1 VTEC. Nothing special about the R in the CDN EX-R, not like it's jdm....

thats what i've heard....:looksaround:

nah, I just want to lose the pimpin' gold emblems. The EX-R would look nice and much better than TYPE-R on the rear.

For example My Canadian model 96 EX has an F22B2. You wouldn't believe how many people from the US ask me why I swapped in a B2 when the EX comes with the B1 VTEC. CDN EX's are the equivalent to a US LX. EX-R = EX. Like TMM said.

I did call the local yards but they didn't have anything. I can call the dealer ship and see if they can get one in. I didn't figure that you'd be up for paying that as there has to be a few in the yards up here....somewhere!
