Can I swap OBD1 and OBD2 Accord engine harnesses?
I have a 97 Accord LX that I have to get running properly OBD2 for CA emissions. I have an F20B swap in there that was done poorly by someone else, and I am switching to a prelude IM from the F20B one because of a failed and unreplaceable IACV and at least one bad vac leak. My engine harness was tampered with by the guy who did the swap, so now I have a 3-wire plug for the IACV wired into my stock harness when I need a two-wire. Only Accord engine harness I could find on Ebay was from 94-97 accord unspecified. Anyone know if there is any reason why I couldn't use the harness if its OBD1... or if I would have to do some re-wiring at the ECU? They look identical in the pix on hondapartsdeals.com - see below - and the parts numbers are almost identical, but not quite: 32110-P0B-A20 for the 97 w/CA emissions and 32110-P0B-A00 for 94 w/general emissions.
Also - maybe an easier fix... Anyone know where I could get the engine harness plug for the 2-wire IACV?
97 obd2 accord engine harness -
94 obd1 accord engine harness -
