Body damage to '93 Accord causing electrical problems?
My Accord was involved in an accident some time ago, causing damage to the quarter panel and left front panel that holds the headlight assembly. Basically everything in that corner including the headlight was smashed in making the wires behind and underneath that area inaccessible.
After the accident, a bunch of things immediately stopped working: the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, cruise control, window washer. The cruise control was broken due to the impact of the accident, also a bunch of electrical problems happened immediately as well (left turn signal, CEL, windshield wipers won't turn off, D4 keeps blinking) .
I finally got the damage fixed last month and was hoping the shop could straighten out the electrical problems and get everything working again, but the guy couldn't find any broken wires or any visually noticeable problems down there, so its all still not working.
Is there something under the hood on the left side (its a '93 Accord EX, automatic) that all these wires are connected to that might be causing this, like a junction box or something? Could it be one shorted out wire causing everything to go haywire?
I'd like to see if I can try to fix this myself before going to a mechanic. Anyone ever have something like this happen?

sounds like a ground problem I would check to make sure there is no ground straps in the damage area also double check your motor mounts ground strap is okay
