Default Brake rotor problem!!

Ok, I'm slowly getting parts for the legend brake swap onto my 6th gen.

I just got my brembo blanks. I ordered the accord wagon rotors...

I just realized, my 6th gen is a rotor over hub design, whereas the accord wagon is most likely a hub over rotor design. Forgetting about the problem of returning these, but what rotors have 4x114.3 bolt pattern, and a rotor over hub design AND same specs as the accord wagons, i.e. with a diameter of 282mm and 25mm thickness (actually, 28mm thickness is desired) ?

6th gen is rotor over hub design? similar to the 4th gen prelude?

hmm... any idea if the front suspension or brakes could be swapped w/ a 5th gen? I've been dying to find a rotor-over-hub solution. =|

glad to see you goin through wit it TWG. Why not just rip the hub off the rear of a totaled accord? its only a matter of unbolting and rebolting and bleeding and adjusting the brakes

no idea if the 6th gen suspension could be swapped with the 5th gen...

I wonder if the 4th gen 'ludes had rotors that were as big as the legends...

man I think we said that the 6th gen upgrade was pointless b/c the rotors were floating rotor and large enough, why did you decide to undertake this without doing any research first?

Yeah, 6th gen has totally different front brakes and suspension than the 4th/5th gen. All the hybrid brake swaps we've talked about are really for 4/5 Gs. 6th gens are a whole nuther story.

lude rotors are still 11" by 23mm. Use a 5mm spacer to makeup for the difference in size. http://www.hondaprelude.com (think this is the site) had a whole writeup on swapping NSX calipers into a prelude.

6th gen I4 use a smaller diameter rotor. 260mm instead of 282mm. Also, the calipers on the Legend is much more powerful than the I4s. Even the V6 calipers are more powerful than the I4s.

Here is what I found out:

4th gen 'lude SRV rotors:

282mm
23mm thickness
21mm min thickness

A spec: 47.1
B spec: 64.2

94 Legend LS Coupe Rotors (Euro):

282mm
23mm thick
21mm min thick
A spec: 47.1
B spec: 70.2

The problem is I don't have A spec or B spec values for the 6th gen accord. Nor do I have US spec Legend numbers. I know that many people have indicated the legend rotors should be 28mm thick...

Any ideas here ?

What does the A-spec and B-spec stand for or mean?

the A spec is the distance from the braking surface to the top of the hat.

The B spec is the diameter of the hole req. for the hub.
