Default Big problem need help

i work at a shop called import autosport and i am new to this forum but we got a 95 accord in recently and we cant figure out what the deal is

It turns on and idles for about 30 seconds then the tach starts bouncing in between 1500 and 750 then it just dies, Have replaced ignitor and coil all the fuses and i suspect the injector drivers are beginning to crap out, i will be using a stethiscope to listen to injector pulse untill it dies but if you know anything or have any ideas it would be much appreciated and if it is the injector drivers please direct me to a new or used ECU at a good.

Thanks

This bouncing idle can stem from many different problems. Is there any CEL?

First you could try checking for Vacuum Leaks, usually clean out the air bypass systems in the Throttle body and intake will cure this. IACV, FITV, AICS check them all for operation and clean them.

There are a bunch of treads on here now running with these same symptoms

Check in the Accord FAQ

I was just going to point him to the big thread on cleaning FITV, IACV, etc...
then I noticed you had already linked it. It's a pretty good summary of anything that can cause a surging idle.

That stuff is good - IF the idle rpm is really surging. If it's just a flaky tach & the actual rpm is steady, then let us know & we'll think along those lines.

Knowing Saabs & VW, I'd guess you're not accustomed to cars that have throttle position sensors. Check that out on the Honda, it can contribute to the problem. Somewhere around here (search) there's a thread or 50 about what voltages you want to see from the TPS when it's closed & wide open.
