Default BIG BRAKE 11.2"wagon brakes on 93 sedan!

Tools/ Materials: 10mm 16point socket, 10mm flare nut wrench, 36mm socket, Long breaker bar, Ball joint separator, anti seize, grease, brake parts cleaner.
Parts: Honda Accord Wagon 1993 calipers, rotors, pads, 4040 proportioning valve (rear disc too).

Dorman brand 7/16" washers.

1. Remove the axle 36mm nut
2. Jack up the car and remove the tires, then remove the upper ball joint, lower ball joint, and steering tire rod end.
Now you have the steering knuckle free.
3. Loosen the 10mm 16point bolts on the bearing hub assembly and remove the 14mm spindle to rotor bolt.

4.Now prop the assembly on the brake rotor to press the spindle through. The spindle will push through the rotor and steering knuckle.

5. One bearing race is now stuck on the spindle. Cut if off with a cutoff wheel or buy a bearing removal tool.
6.The main part of the steering knuckle still has the other half of the bearing in it. Grab your BFH and knock it out.

6. Clean out the hole and lube it up with anti seize. Also do the same for the spindle.

7. Press the lubed up spindle into the new bearing.

that is a socket I,m using to push the spindle into the bearing.
8. Put the spindle bearing assemble through the new rotor and bolt them together.

9. Put the new rotor/spindle/bearing assembly into the hole and tighten down the 4 10mm bolts evenly. Do it just like your tightening a wheel in a criss cross pattern. Now the steering knuckle is back to together.
10. Reinstall by tightening the lower ball joint then the upper and lastly the steering.
11. The calipers DON'T FIT!!! Use a dorman brand 7/16" washer between the caliper and steering knuckle.
12. Clean off the rotors with brake parts cleaner. Install pads, and install calipers. Don't forget the washers. Install the 4040 prop valve, and bleed the breaks.

Its hard to take off the wheel and not chip the caliper paint, they are so big
Here is the old rotor next to the new:

The old rotor on top of the new. The flash make it look weird. But it is centered.

The old 43mm contact area:

THE BREAKS WORK GREAT!
Here is the old pad on the new big pads

The new bracket is a 23T

my friend helped me on the prices
rotors and pads Wagner: $80
wheel bearings: $66
fully loaded calipers: $100 seriously!
press $110
