Re: best accord rear lip (Honda_Accord)
Here's my 94. I initially took off the front, sides, and the back and sanded them lightly and used Bulldog primer for painting plastic. Then just regular Krylon white gloss spray paint, and then clear. Don't use clear out of a can, it looked really nice at first, but it turned yellow as hell about six months later. I just went back over them on the car and I'm pretty happy I guess. Painting the front lip was the best, that made a huge difference. I even painted the trim rings around my rear side marker lights which nobody else seems to do for some reason they always leave them black.
P.S. for future flamming --- I've already changed the muffler to an Apexi WS and I actually like my taillights.

Im guessing when u say paint them, you mean the same color of your car to make it look good? or do u mean black..
Just wondering.
I have the 97 SE, thats like plum purple or whatever and i have yet to find the same color in the stores so im gonna be sad if u say same color as car lol

Re: painting (Honda_Accord)
well... yeah, I was talking about the same color as the car. Yours is sorta dark so leaving them black isn't so noticable anyway. My car being white, it was only logical to me. I see so many people paint the front lip, back, and sides that have a white Accord and leave those black and it looks kinda dumb.

Re: painting (markyh)
That should be my next project, is painting the lips on my accord. What's the easiest way to paint them? Take them off the car and paint? What kind of paint? Just normal spray paint, with a clear coat over it or something? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg trying to paint match my car. 92 accord frost white.

that will look sick as **** once its painted dude.....makes me jealous
i know that the duplicolor spray cans only come in like 4 out of the 6 or so colors offered by honda on the 5th gen accord....the most popular one (cashmere silver) unfortunantley only comes in the touch up pen....
there are a few websites that sell OEM pait in cans and sprays....i might do some painting next spring

Mugen add on is the best rear IMO...
Not the cheesy mugen-style lip, mind you, but this one here: http://www.accordracing.com/ph...c=06b
